Woo hoo! Ontario just got a new long weekend in February, bringing our tally up to nine each year. Family Day falls on February 18th in 2008.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a new all-time top scorer. Matts Sundin eclipsed Darryl Sittler's franchise records for goals and points last night, in a 8-1 thrashing of the NY Islanders. It's too bad Sundin is an old man.

More police cameras are being installed in troubled areas of the city. The intersections of Sherbourne & Dundas, Sherbourne & Queen, and George & Gerrard will be the new locations for video surveillance. I'd love to see what goes on at Moss Park at 3am.

The TTC is once again pissing its customers off. To curb bulk buying of tokens prior to the November 1st fare hike, token machines at some stations have been reprogrammed in such a way that they no longer accept $20 bills. Classy move, TTC. Your public relations suck.
