Police will be installing three CCTV cameras on Monday at the intersections of Yonge & Dundas Sts., Yonge & Gould Sts. and Yonge & Gerrard Sts. The installation is temporary, and they plan to take them down on January 7. This might spark some debate.

Yesterday we learned of Etobicoke police and their ridiculous 25 and home policy, and today it's Peel region police that are in trouble. 24 Missisauga police officers are facing a range of charges, including neglect of duty, corrupt practice, deceit and discreditable conduct after a parking lot booze-up and beat-up.

Arar is still on US the watch list, despite being fully exonerated of all terrorism charges in Canada. Arar is suing a slew of government organizations in Canada and the US after his deportation and detention in Syria.

Nintendo is recalling Wii remote straps after early users of the video game system complained that they aren't strong enough. In some cases, the remote straps have been breaking, sending the remotes flying across rooms. The novel remote and its use also make for some funny photos.
