TPL hosts online author chat tonight: Wayne Johnston

No need to bundle up to chat with author Wayne Johnston about his books or the writing life; all you need is an Internet connection. The Toronto Public Library is hosting a live online chat tonight with Wayne Johnston from 7:30-8:30 PM (local time).

If you're not familiar with this part of TPL's Book Buzz, the Toronto Public Library's Virtual Book Club, do check it out. A new book discussion is launched in the message board on the first day of every month.

Wayne Johnston's book, The Custodian Of Paradise, was featured in November. Much of the humour and many of the quirky characters in Johnston's novels were drawn from his childhood in Newfoundland. Johnston served as the poetry editor for The Fiddlehead Magazine before leaving Newfoundland and settling in Toronto.

You can find more info on the Toronto Public Library Book Buzz Page.
