Urban Trash Art Toronto

Photos of the Urban Trash Art in Toronto

We may have just posted on this topic, but it seems that our coverage of the RRRRR Trash Art Festival in Kensington Market this past weekend didn't include that many photos of the actual trash art. Since that post was focused on more of the musical side of the festival, here are photos of the trash art created by Sao Paolo's Urban Trash Art collective.

The art collective, incidentally, spent the past two weeks exploring street corners and back alleys in Kensington Market and Chinatown, only twice stopping to sample some delicious dumplings. The result of their efforts is what you see below - a series of public trash sculptures made entirely from scrap wood, wire, plastics and other waste.
