Parkdale gets an online radio station
Parkale has a new community hub, and no, it's not Happy Time. The Parkdale Community Development Group unveiled Radio Parkdale this week, a multimedia site intended for residents to share stories, pictures, and other Parkdale memories. Along with regular podcasts and posts by PCDG staff, Parkdale youth will work on the site as a way to build media skills.
Right now there's a video of a dog on a box, clips from the 2009 Outdoor Art Show & Sale, and pictures from a pub crawl. It's not East Village Radio but used appropriately, it seems Radio Parkdale could have potential.
