Snow Storm

Art Attack's Snow Blitzkrieg

With anywhere from 15-30 cm of snow expected in the GTA by tomorrow morning brought on by a "Godzilla-like" storm, some are (clearly) busy making hyberbolic news headlines, while others are salivating over the thought of "commuter chaos."

Thankfully, there's a brighter side to a major winter storm striking the GTA, and the Toronto Public Spacing Committee's Art Attack crew are taking more of glass-half-full style approach to the whole ordeal. Liam O'Doherty of the TPSC sent a bulletin earlier inviting one and all to their Snow Fort Build. Read on for the details.

All the doom and gloom preceding winter storms in Toronto can get old real quick, so this is one of many great opportunities to get outside and enjoy the pretty snow this weekend. Here's how you can get in on the snow fort building shenanigans:

Location: Queen and Jones

Time: Friday @ 10:30pm

Bring: Warm clothes, snow shovels, hot chocolate and cookies (to share), a reusable mug, empty spraybottles, decorations, containers for molding bricks of varying sizes and your friends!

If mucking around in the snow late at night doesn't strike your fancy, I can only imagine how spectacular the WinterCity Cie Carabosse fire display is going to look on Friday night with plenty of white stuff on the ground.
