South of Bloor: Photographs by Natalie Brahan

Vintage and toy camera enthusiast Natalie Brahan is opening her photography exhibit "South of Bloor" this Saturday at Le Petit Dejeuner, as part of the ongoing Cityshoots project.

South of Bloor showcases Brahan's unique and colourful photography - medium format film works depicting both the well-known and some of the lesser-known corners of south Toronto. Optical imperfections in her vintage and toy cameras and unconventional film processing techniques provide warped colour and add intriguing twists to her views of Toronto.

The opening reception is on October 14th at 7:00 p.m. and the show runs until mid-November at Le Petit DĂŠjeuner, 191 King Street East (just east of Jarvis).

Cityshoots is a year-long, rotating exhibit featuring the works of several Toronto photobloggers.
