This Wednesday (3rd) at the Gladstone, you can check out an evening of 'theatrical demonstrations' from Karen Hines Hello...Hello and Darren O'Donnell's Social Acupuncture. From 7-10pm, free.

As part of the Mayworks Festival Thursday (the 4th) at Buddies (8pm) , Toronto Women's Bookstore is presenting Full Spectrum wherein a diverse crowd of women wordsmiths will be unleashed. Urpi Edite Pine introduces readers/performers Michele Chai, d'bi young, Shani Mootoo, and Gein Wong.

Admission: $7-$15 sliding scale, at the door

Also, congrats for the winners of the Trillium Book Awards.
