Fresh today in the iTunes app store is the latest version of the blogTO iPhone and iPad app. This latest update resolves some minor bugs and performance issues but the main benefit it brings is a much improved search functionality.

Starting with today's release (version 2.1.2), you can now search the entire blogTO archives from within the app. Previously, only recent posts/news articles were available for search. To try out the new search functionality for yourself, just tap on the News icon. A search under Latest News will return all search results from the site, but if you want to refine your search to certain sections of the site just filter by category before performing your search. For example, if you filter the News section by Film or Music your search results will just be returned from posts/articles made to those specific sections.
