Contest: win 2 tickets anywhere Westjet flies

We've long been a fan of Timeraiser, the annual Toronto event that allows anyone to offer their time for a piece of local art. This year's Timeraiser is taking place in the Distillery District on March 19th and to help raise awareness about it we've teamed with them to give away a flight voucher for 2 anywhere Westjet files. For your chance to win, all you need to do is answer this question on our Facebook Page: How are you volunteering your time in Toronto?

The contest is open starting now until 11:00pm on March 4th. Here's how the contest will work.

1. For your chance to win, simply answer the above question in the appropriate comment thread on the blogTO Facebook Page.

2. Petition your friends to vote for your comment. Or, just vote for the comments you like the best. The 10 comments that receive the most Likes by 11:00pm on March 4th will be sent to our jury (made up of Timeraiser staff and volunteers). They will then select the one comment that in their opinion is the best answer to the question.

The complete rules and regulations are posted here. Good luck!

UPDATE: We have a winner! Our jury has selected Allison Saretsky who submitted the following comment:

I volunteer with 3 small, grassroots style groups in the city, who focus on access to arts, literacy/education, and resources in urban neighborhoods. I "met" two of these organizations, Delisle Youth Gallery and Santa in the City, at a Timeraiser event 3 years ago - this event literally changed the course of what I consider to be important in my life. Aside from the above commitments, I volunteer each weekend in my neighborhood (impacting the civic footprint directly where I live) with the Leading to Reading program at TPl, and have switched up career paths completely, moving from a weekday job in the private to the non-profit arts sector. I have loved and love every moment of being more engaged in this city!

Congrats to Allison! And thanks to everyone who participated.
