If anonymous internet commentators can be trusted, a visit to Bulldog Coffee may involve some surliness from owner Stuart Ross. Notorious for both his attitude and his coffee, I came prepared to experience both. But, thankfully, on the day of my drop-in, he was cheerfully turning out cup after cup of award winning espresso to a steady stream of satisfied customers.
