In an area of Toronto dominated by big retailers like Chapters and The Gap, can a small storefront specializing in remaindered books survive? We've already seen one beloved independent bookstore on Queen West suffer a tragic fate. Will it be different for the new "BMV Express"?

BMV Books owner Patrick Templeton, who has three locations in the city, owns the building and is setting up a small test shop to see if he can make it work. And the deals that can be found are pretty awesome.
