Where to eat Japanese near Bloor and Ossington

Mazz Sushi aside, Bloor and Ossington has never been known as a destination for affordable sushi and Japanese eats. That's not about to change with the arrival of this self-billed izakaya (a misnomer) but for affordable and tasty maki and a sashimi nacho platter it's not a bad option.
