Toronto Oysters

Bivalves for the Bay St. crowd

After more than five years at Rodney's Oyster House on King West, last spring John Belknap decided it was time to shuck it for himself, and where better to do so than the heart of the financial district? Building on the reputation of the original restaurant, Rodney's By Bay serves some of the freshest oysters around town, with daily selections ranging from Washington Totten and Connecticut Mystic to Merigomish from Nova Scotia. There's also a full menu of cooked fare that's enticing enough to make you consider moderating your oyster consumption.

Read my review of Rodney's By Bay in the restaurants section.
