Don't Get Stuck

Regrettably, I took Lakeshore Blvd to work this morning and ran right into the big arrow barricade, moving cars onto the Gardiner or through Ontario Place. The Molson Grand Prix is already set to rumble. I don't mind terribly, in fact it was kind of exciting to drive by while these fast cars blasted down Lakeshore. I just wish MTO could be more efficient about street closures. All I ask is for a "Road Closed" sign one exit before the problem area and I'll be in a better mood all day.

As summer gets into full swing there are several other events effecting traffic this weekend reports 640News. Yonge Street celebrates the Toronto Street Festival and will close several major intersections from downtown to uptown. St. Clair Ave West is closed near Lansdowne Friday and Saturday for the Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta and in the northeast part of the city, Lawrence Avenue at Warden will close to traffic for The Taste of Lawrence Festival.
