Mr. Verg's Theatre of the Absurd

Posted by Tanja / May 7, 2006

may0706_absurd.jpgTaking indie theatre to a whole new level is Mr. Verg's Theatre of the Absurd, a one-man puppet show, seen live on location, Saturday along Queen St West in Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Hearing some singing from across the street I looked over to find the above potato-sack box with 1-2 mighty theatrical puppets emerging from it in performance.

Small crowds came and went, but even those who didn't stop couldn't walk past without cracking a smile.
